A quick hello from work before I start my day. Even though I don’t think so when the alarm goes off at 5:30, I do love to be early at work when I am here. I am all alone and the office is totally quiet. I love the routine of turning on the computer, put on some tea and then a browse through my social media before I begin my work day. Those ten minutes sort of give me the start I need for a good productive day. And when I start working around 7, the office is still empty and quiet for about another hour. Lovely. It’s a beautiful morning. The night was cold. Frost covered the roofs and glittered in the grass as I walked to the garage at home. When parking at work the sun had just woken up the ”skilla” (don’t know their English name!) flowers. […]

I am waking up on my last morning in Borås. Going home after two days of meetings and work. It’s always nice to spend a couple of days with my Borås colleagues. But it’s also nice to come home. It will be good to sleep in my own bed tonight. I got an interesting hotelroom I must say. It didn’t have a waste bin so I have had to put my garbage in a plastic bag. And no little fridge to put my milk and youghurt like they normally have. And the hotel view was intriguing too. Thank you for this time Borås, I love you anyway. See you soon again! Borås Hotel Grand. My home away from home. A room with a view. From hotel window. Instead of a fridge…

Good morning from my bed at the hotel in Borås. I am actually writing this today, the actual Tuesday. It is nice to be blogging on the day you will actually read it, and not the day before publishing. 🙂 Maybe I should look over my publishing schedule. I just woke up. And this view below is the first thing my eyes saw this morning. Hotel Grand in Borås is like my home away from home these days. Hotel nights for me are often a hit or miss thing when it comes to sleep. Tonight was a hit! I slept so well. Last time I was here I had a very worried sleep and woke up with a head ache. It is weird how it is either really bad sleep, or like tonight, a really good sleep. It’s never an ”ok” sleep. Going home today. So am  looking forward to my own […]

Monday. First day of the work week after a weekend that passed way too quickly. As they usually do. Why is it that there is a different time on days off than on workdays? And you wake up all bright and alert right before the alarm clock on your day off, and on a workday you wake up feeling you have only slept for thirty minutes. That is a mystery never to be solved. Waking up at 5:30, snoozing until 5:50. Then I walk out of bed and in a daze to the bathroom to have a zombie-like shower to make me more human. I brush my teeth with a little more alert and less swollen eyes looking at my tired reflection in the mirror. ”Oh dear, still not all human yet….” I look through my closet for something to wear, and ask myself the same thing every morning: ”I have nothing […]
